I know some of you have been confused about how this actually works, this video should explain it:

For those of you too busy (lazy) to watch: the top 10 short films and features in this festival will be shown all over the world!

In order to get my film into the top 10, all you guys have to do is click the link below and hit the ‘this seems awesome’ button. It’ll take you to a voting page where you click a few buttons and you’re done!

The film is finally available online thanks to the wonderful folks at Ourstage, who have offered to pay me! The link above will take you to Ourstage’s home page, and if you sign up (for free) I get a dollar!

Once there you’ll be able to see Game Over in all it’s internets-version-glory! Tell your friends! Tell their friends! (don’t tell me. I’m sick of hearing about it..)

(The sign up is completely optional, and you’ll be able to view the film without it, but it seems like a pretty good site, and I seem pretty poor, don’t you think?)

So far you have raised to make me rich!

Firstly, a big thanks to all of you who are telling other people about the film! Keep it up!

The voting won’t start for a while, but I’m keen to give you guys the opportunity to see the film! The question is, how do we do it?

Ourstage have approached me with a promotional deal wherein I would get $1 for everyone that joins their site through a link that they give me. This could be a financially viable way of getting the film on the net and available (possibly for a limited time).

Signing up is free (it’s a similar site to YouTube) and would also allow for a better viewing quality than youtube provides.

What do you guys think, would this be a good way to get the film to you? If not, what would you think best? I could do local screenings, DVD’s etc.

Also, what kind of special features would you guys like to see?

I’ve finished my very first ‘proper’ short film, ‘Game Over’!

The film is an 8 minute zombie comedy (zomedy?) that asks the question ‘What would you do with just a few hours left to live? (…if you’d been bitten by a zombie)

I’m trying to shoot way above my means and enter this into several festivals, the first of which being From Here to Awesome (http://fromheretoawesome.com/blog/)

But I need your help!

In a few weeks FH2A will be taking votes on which films are to be shown around the world, with only the top ten features and shorts being shown.

The voting page isn’t up yet but for now, tell your friends, loved ones and homeless people that the trailer is up on youtube, Myspace, Blip.tv and ourspace!

The many exploits of Pulpit Power will follow the release of my first short film, Game Over, a short zombie comedy (zomedy?) about coming to terms with death and idiots.
